PERU
COCLA , La Convencion, Quillabamba Region, Cusco - Lot 8498
Varietal: Bourbon, Catimor, Caturra, Typica
Altitude: 5,900 to 6,500 feet
COCLA is an umbrella organization that has existed for 42 years. Its 8,500 small farms are grouped into 23 co-operatives. Cusco, Lot 8498, has a medium body, aromas of plum and peach and a very sweet flavor of blood orange. I highly recommend this coffee for every brew method. This particular COCLA offering especially works well as a single-origin espresso in both the demitasse and milk-based beverages!
